Discovering Care; lost systems, ancient civilisations & ruins2025

What if care had to be rediscovered like an ancient ruin? Inspired by socio-political work The Care Manifesto by Andreas Chatzidakis and others, this project explores a speculative future where care is treated as a lost civilisation. Creating a poster series and booklet, I combined text from The Care Manifesto with visual references to excavation.

Colour played a key role, with earthy tones of red,
black and brown, paired with cutouts of found items and excavation tools. I drew from archival and historical materials in the typography, reinforcing the conceit that the viewer is looking at educational materials about a lost society.
